Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cees Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urho Haapasalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool - Bodies (Let The Bodies Hit The Floor) . Haapasalo has chosen Korpiklaani - Vodka as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Overeem darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Urho Haapasalo has been cut.
Overeem throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Haapasalo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Haapasalo has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Overeem.
Haapasalo looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Overeem looks to land a combination but Haapasalo avoids it well.
Overeem is looking to chop away at Haapasalo's legs.
Overeem throws a body punch but Haapasalo moves out of range.
Haapasalo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Overeem.
That kick from Overeem tenderised Haapasalo's leg. Haapasalo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Overeem fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Haapasalo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Overeem drops Haapasalo with a beautiful combination! Haapasalo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Overeem is looking for the KO!
A combination from Overeem does no damage.
Overeem looks to land a right hand but Haapasalo moved out of range.
A cross from Overeem lands.

Overeem throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Haapasalo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Overeem feints and then cracks Haapasalo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Haapasalo down.
Haapasalo walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A nice inside leg kick there by Overeem. That's going to slow Haapasalo down.
Haapasalo dodges the punch combination from Overeem.
Overeem clobbers Haapasalo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Overeem throws a right hand that Haapasalo ducks under and follows up with a left that Haapasalo also avoids with ease.
Overeem connects with a body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Overeem throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Haapasalo makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Haapasalo dodges the punch combination from Overeem.

and Haapasalo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Overeem wants to clinch
and Haapasalo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Haapasalo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Overeem throws a head kick that misses.
Haapasalo tests Overeem's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Haapasalo rushes Overeem and presses him up against the cage.

Haapasalo manages to break the clinch.
Overeem misses with the body kick
and Haapasalo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Haapasalo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sloppy strikes from Haapasalo. Those never looked like landing.
Overeem falls off balance throwing a combination

and Haapasalo counters with a nice right hand that sends Overeem toppling to the canvas! Overeem scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Haapasalo finish him?!

Overeem is rocked!

It looks like Cees Overeem has been cut.
Overeem switches off momentarily and Haapasalo cracks him with a monster right hand! Overeem topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Haapasalo dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Haapasalo!
