And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Hall!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall throws a right hand that misses
letting Fernandez counter with a right hand.


It looks like Scott Hall has been cut.
Hall swats away the attempt to clinch by Fernandez.

and Fernandez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hall keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fernandez throws a hook but Hall blocks it.
Fernandez takes a swing at Hall's ribcage but misses.
Miguel Fernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hall rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fernandez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Fernandez counters with a stiff right hand.

Hall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fernandez to the mat! Fernandez manages to get full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Miguel Fernandez just wasn't active enough.
Hall with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Fernandez to score with a decent uppercut.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A decent looking cross lands there for Fernandez.

and Fernandez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
No joy there for Fernandez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hall closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fernandez did well to prevent Hall getting side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Miguel Fernandez will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Hall ducks right into an uppercut from Fernandez.

and Fernandez counters with a stiff right hand.

and Fernandez counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fernandez. Hall does a little dance to reset his feet.

Miguel Fernandez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fernandez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Hall displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fernandez throws out the jab.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fernandez, as that shot connected.


That has opened up Scott Hall's cut even more.
Fernandez tries to bum rush Hall with a series of wild strikes but Hall uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Fernandez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fernandez tries to clinch up.
Fernandez works Hall's body with a nice hook.
Fernandez lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fernandez digs a good body shot into Hall's ribs.
Good standup being displayed there by Fernandez as he connects with a hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fernandez lands a jab to Hall's midsection.

Fernandez fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fernandez tries to clinch up.
Fernandez moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.


The cut above Scott Hall's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Hall throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Fernandez counters with a stiff right hand.


Hall is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fernandez is stalking Hall. Hall circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Fernandez, and it's lights out! Hall really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Miguel Fernandez!
