Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen England Belongs to Me as his entrance music. Eric Adams is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paulo Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Adams!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kang closes the distance looking to clinch
and Adams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Adams slips under a jab from Kang.

Adams tries to keep at a distance but Kang has taken the fight into the clinch.
Adams jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kang walks away with a smile on his face. Adams gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Nice straight punches there by Kang. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kang.
Kang throws an off balance right hand
and Adams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kang comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kang tries a low kick but Adams avoids it.
Adams ducks under a wild hook from Kang.
Adams defending well as Kang loads up on a big left hand.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kang.

Adams with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kang to score with a decent uppercut.

Kang tries to close the distance and clinch but Adams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Adams throws a series of strikes that have Kang backpedaling.

Kang looks to score with a jab to the body but Adams is just out of range.
Kang cracks Adams with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Adams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adams changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kang tries to avoid it but Adams manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kang to the ground. Kang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Good leg kick by Kang there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
