Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kappi Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bada Bing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bateman comes to the cage accompanied by 20th century boy. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bing's choice of entrance music: Metallica - All Nightmare Long. On his way into the cage it seems that Kappi Bateman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kappi Bateman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman swings widly with a right hand
and Bing counters with a nice uppercut.
Bing moves out of range as Bateman throws a body kick.
Bateman attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
A jab from Bing misses.
Bateman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Bing catches Bateman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bing fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bateman moves to clinch but Bing breaks away
and Bing cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bateman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Bateman. No joy for Bing on that attempt.
Bing's corner calls for a 1-2. Bing obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Bateman misses with a combination
and Bateman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Bing has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Bateman misses with a left hand
and Bing counters with a single leg into guard. Bateman didn't expect that.
Bateman wants to stand but Bing is controlling the position.
Bing controlling from the top position.
Bateman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bing is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bing postures up in Bateman's guard and throws a big left but Bateman blocks it.
Bing drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bateman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bing has Bateman in his guard.
Bateman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bing has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bateman has managed to get both his arms back between Bing's legs - danger averted.

Bateman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Bing escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bateman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bateman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bing is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bing is looking for a triangle but Bateman pushes his legs off easily.

Bing is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Bing seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Bateman looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bing wants to take a breather but Bateman is having none of it.
Bateman pushes Bing off looking to stand but Bing dives back in and keeps control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bing lands a nice short elbow.

Bing thows a huge punch but Bateman dodges it nicely.
Bing in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bateman tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bing!
