Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Simon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Simon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Down With The Sickness. Steve Simon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rocky Balboa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steve Simon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rocky Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simon throws a head kick that misses.
Balboa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Simon tries to avoid it but Balboa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Simon to the ground. Simon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Balboa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Simon but Simon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Simon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Steve Simon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa.
The fight stays on the outside here - Simon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Balboa shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Simon is looking to get to half guard.

Balboa swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Simon is now in Balboa's guard. A big mistake from Balboa there, giving up the dominant position!
Balboa will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Balboa is trying to control the position but Simon postures up.

Balboa throws his legs up looking for a submission but Simon uses it to pass to side control.
Balboa looking for a sweep but Simon has passed into full mount! Oh no!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Balboa can't escape the position.
Simon is landing with some decent strikes but Balboa is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Balboa is looking to improve his position but Simon isn't that keen on the idea.
Simon throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Simon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Balboa looks gassed!
Balboa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Simon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Balboa can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Simon trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Balboa flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Balboa is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Balboa tries to hold on but Simon pushes him away.
Balboa regains half guard.
Simon is looking to take a break and control but Balboa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Simon tries to stand but can't do so whilst Balboa controls his leg.
Simon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Balboa defending well though.
Balboa wants to improve his position but Simon is controlling well.
Balboa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Simon is working away from the top position though.
Simon is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Simon misses with a takedown attempt - Balboa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Steve Simon will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Simon thows a huge punch but Balboa dodges it nicely.
Balboa is trying to control but Simon manages to pass to mount!
Balboa takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Balboa is squirming around, avoiding Simon's attempts to control the action.
Balboa is breathing heavily.
Balboa regains half guard.
Balboa avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Simon.

Simon wants to stand but Balboa has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Balboa is pressing down on Simon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Simon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Balboa is proving hard to escape from.

Balboa is looking to sinch up a triangle. Simon throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Balboa's body to avoid the submission. Balboa has instead reached around Simon's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Balboa arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
