Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman has chosen Don't Tread On Me By Metallica as his entrance music. Ronnie Coleman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jorge Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronnie Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coleman moves into the clinch.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Coleman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Murphy thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Coleman passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Coleman throws an elbow but Murphy slips to the side and avoids it well.
Coleman misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Coleman is trying to get an arm triangle but Murphy is defending well.
Murphy is not content to let Coleman control the position.
Coleman moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Coleman moves into full mount!
Murphy tries to lock up and control but Coleman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Coleman throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Murphy because Coleman loaded up on that one.
Murphy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coleman on the ground.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Murphy wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Coleman.

Coleman is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Murphy is surviving well by controlling Coleman's body position as best he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Sloppy strikes from Coleman. Those never looked like landing.
Coleman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Murphy circles away.

Coleman is trying to drag Murphy to the mat but Murphy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Murphy is fighting to break Coleman's control of his arms but Coleman is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Coleman throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

We're going to have a standup here because Jorge Murphy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Murphy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Coleman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jorge Murphy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronnie Coleman.

Murphy will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Ronnie Coleman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Murphy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Coleman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Murphy's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Coleman slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Murphy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Coleman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ronnie Coleman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Coleman winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
