Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Shepherd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Richardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shepherd comes into the arena with 'My Heart Will Go On' by Celion Dion blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepherd throws a lazy uppercut
letting Richardson counter with a right hand.
Jack Shepherd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shepherd uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Richardson.
Richardson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Shepherd counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Richardson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Richardson misses with a body kick.
Shepherd misses with a lunging right hand
and Richardson counters with a nice uppercut.
Shepherd throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Richardson keeps Shepherd at a distance using the push kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Richardson.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shepherd, as that shot connected.
Richardson wants to slow Shepherd down by chopping away at his legs.
Richardson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shepherd throws a poor cross that misses
and Richardson counters with a slapping leg kick.
Richardson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Shepherd. Those never looked like landing.
Shepherd throws a hook but Richardson blocks it.
Shepherd's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Richardson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shepherd scrambles back to his feet.
Richardson misses with a looping left.

Shepherd lands with a slapping head kick.
Shepherd tries to land a leg kick but Richardson saw it coming and moves away.
Shepherd defending well as Richardson loads up on a big left hand.

Richardson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Shepherd is breathing heavily.
Richardson connects with a body shot that sends Shepherd's belly button to the back.
Richardson throws a lazy right hand but Shepherd sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Shepherd really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Richardson fails in his attempt to clinch.

It looks like Jack Shepherd has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice leg kick lands there from Richardson.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Shepherd crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Richardson - the referee stops the clock and Shepherd gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Richardson. Shepherd manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Richardson throws a jab but it's blocked by Shepherd.
Richardson lands a brutal head kick. Shepherd looks out on his feet and Richardson throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
