Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Barden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sucker Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punch is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sucker Punch. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch misses with a lunging right hand
and Barden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barden throws a head kick but Punch moves out of range.
Punch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Punch misses with an uppercut
and Barden cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Barden bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Barden moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Barden looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Punch keeping moving, preventing Barden from controlling successfully.
Barden is looking to work some ground and pound but Punch has wrist control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barden accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Punch preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Barden works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Barden works his foot free and advances to mount.
Barden putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Punch holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Barden tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Barden jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Punch manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barden throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Barden misses with the ground and pound.
Punch is working to avoid the ground and pound but Barden connects with a decent elbow.
Punch tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
What can Punch do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Barden tries to keep control of the position but Punch is staying busy.

Barden has got one arm under Punch's chin. This could be trouble... Punch trying to control the other hand but Barden gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Punch has tapped out! The fight is over!
