The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Howell misses.
BeatBox misses with a shot to the body
and Howell counters with a stiff right hand.
Howell misses with a straight right.
Howell stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Brad Howell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
BeatBox misses with a jab, cross combination.
BeatBox wants to clinch but Howell slips to the side
and Howell counters with a nice uppercut.
BeatBox throws a right hand that misses
and Howell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Howell lands a nice hook to BeatBox's body. BeatBox takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Howell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
BeatBox uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Howell.

BeatBox tries to clinch but Howell is having none of it.

It looks like Fernandinho BeatBox has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from BeatBox.
Howell throws out a loose jab but BeatBox uses good head movement to avoid it.
BeatBox misses with a low kick.
Howell moves into range and connects with a jab.
BeatBox tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Howell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oh BeatBox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

BeatBox misses with a takedown attempt - Howell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
BeatBox seems to have got his legs back now.
BeatBox is breathing heavily.
BeatBox takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Howell throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck BeatBox on the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Howell counters with a crisp right that sends BeatBox to the canvas! Howell follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
