Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Oddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oddi comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Maiden - The Trooper. Antonio Oddi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Lin!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Oddi quickly recovers to half guard.

Lin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Oddi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Oddi.
