Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Rando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Kildahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kildahl has chosen dont get up as his entrance music. Sam Kildahl has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kildahl shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rando defends it nicely.
Rando moves to clinch but Kildahl breaks away

and Kildahl counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Kildahl is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rando doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kildahl.

Kildahl is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rando is just riding it out for now. Kildahl eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
You can see the frustration on Rando's face as Kildahl controls the position.

Kildahl goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rando has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kildahl but great work by Rando.
