Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gage Roby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Tick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tick has chosen The Tick theme song as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gage Roby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Tick!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roby misses with the body kick
and Tick counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Roby forces Tick back against the cage and clinches.
Roby gets control of Tick's arms and successfully pulls guard. Roby will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Roby looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tick puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Tick frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Roby wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Roby is just holding on here. Tick manages to take his back.
Tick just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

I really don't envy Roby right now.
Roby is working hard here to advance position.
Roby trying to control but not successfully.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Tick is hanging on to Roby's back as he tries to escape.
Roby is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Tick keeps control of the position as Roby tries to break free.

Roby is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
I would not like to be Roby right now.
OK we're going to have a standup here. The Tick hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Roby tries for a takedown but Tick circles away easily
and Tick counters with a stiff right hand.
Tick thumps Roby with a low kick.
Roby has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tick.
Tick lands a head kick!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Roby stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Tick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
The Tick dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tick feints and then cracks Roby's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Roby down.
Roby on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tick. Tick obviously looking to wear him down.
Tick keeps Roby at a distance using the push kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Tick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Tick. That's going to slow Roby down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Roby takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Nice body kick there by Tick.
Donk. Tick catches Roby right on the button with a cross.
Tick lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Roby crumples to the floor! Tick milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). The Tick!
