Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Lusion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Fightmaster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lusion comes to the cage accompanied by Destroy Everything. Anthony Lusion has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Lusion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Fightmaster!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lusion shoots in for a takedown but Fightmaster shows good takedown defense.
Lusion closes the distance and clinches up with Fightmaster, looking for a takedown. Lusion pushes Fightmaster against the cage but Fightmaster circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Fightmaster throws a hook but Lusion blocks it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fightmaster.
Lusion gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fightmaster counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Lusion. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lusion closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fightmaster quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fightmaster is concentrating on defense, preventing Lusion from advancing position.
Lusion tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Fightmaster.
Fightmaster tries to roll over but Lusion keeps him under control.
Fightmaster is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Lusion cracks Fightmaster with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Lusion lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Fightmaster wants to control but Lusion is having none of it.

Fightmaster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lusion. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Fightmaster controlling the leg, holding on to half guard.
Fightmaster is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Lusion stands up out of the half guard.
Fightmaster takes a swing at Lusion's ribcage but misses.

and Lusion counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lusion.

The referee calls for Lusion to work.
Fightmaster trying to control the position but instead, Lusion has worked for underhooks and has pushed Fightmaster into the cage.
Lusion with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Still in the clinch, Lusion scores with a nice short uppercut.
Lusion wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Lusion jumps into guard, dragging Fightmaster to the mat.
Lusion is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fightmaster won't allow Lusion to sweep him here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fightmaster's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Fightmaster feints a jab promting Lusion to slip. Fightmaster then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lusion slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fightmaster circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Fightmaster. Those never looked like landing.
Fightmaster misses with a double jab.
Lusion misses with a takedown
and Fightmaster counters with a good low kick that Lusion was not able to check.
A punch combination from Fightmaster misses.

Anthony Lusion is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A nice inside leg kick there by Fightmaster. That's going to slow Lusion down.
Fightmaster throws a low kick but Lusion moves out of range easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fightmaster in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Lusion looking to control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fightmaster accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fightmaster looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Fightmaster trying to control but Lusion is working from the bottom.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lusion blocks a jab.

Lusion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fightmaster was covering up waiting for the punch and Lusion finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lusion is stalling in the full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fightmaster can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fightmaster avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lusion has his takedown stuffed
and Fightmaster counters with a straight right hand.
Lusion drops his hands momentarily and Fightmaster takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fightmaster shoots in looking for a takedown. Lusion tries to sprawl out of it but Fightmaster keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lusion manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fightmaster moves into range and connects with a jab.
Lusion fails with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Max Fightmaster showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Lusion counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fightmaster's guard now.
Lusion trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Fightmaster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lusion is one step ahead there.
Lusion sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fightmaster's guard.
Anthony Lusion overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lusion is keen to just control but Fightmaster is a slippery customer.
