Skaar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amon Amarth - "The Pursuit of Vikings". We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sid tries to land a front kick but Skaar steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sid shoots in for a double leg but Skaar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Skaar tries to close the distance and clinch but Sid swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sid gets caught flat footed, as Skaar shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Skaar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Sid looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

We're going to have a standup here because John Skaar wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Skaar slips a jab from Sid.
Sid scores with a one two! Skaar had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Skaar takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Skaar ducks right into an uppercut from Sid.
Sid misses with a takedown

and Skaar counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Skaar thows a big elbow that misses.

Sid has his feet on Skaar's thighs here. He's pushed Skaar off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Skaar screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
