The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez loads up on a big right hand but Higastsui slips the punch.
Gonzalez fails to land with a series of punches.
Gonzalez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Higastsui takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Gonzalez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Higastsui moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gonzalez dances in with a quick combination. Higastsui is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Gonzalez snaps Higastsui's head back. Higastsui stumbles backwards against the cage. Gonzalez steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Higastsui's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Higastsui just didn't come prepared.
