The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Shea avoids a punch combination nicely.
Fitzgibbon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by O Shea.
O Shea showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fitzgibbon.
Sloppy strikes from Fitzgibbon. Those never looked like landing.

O Shea gets a clinch.
O Shea is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Fitzgibbon is keeping busy.
O Shea connects with a nasty looking knee right to Fitzgibbon's face.
Fitzgibbon is trying to force a seperation but O Shea has the dominant position.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, O Shea just misses with a elbow thrown towards Fitzgibbon's brow.

Fitzgibbon tries to break free but O Shea pushes him back against the cage.

O Shea prevents Fitzgibbon from breaking the clinch.

O Shea keeps control of Fitzgibbon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
O Shea pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
The referee calls for O Shea to work.

Fitzgibbon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and O Shea counters with a takedown into side control.

O Shea is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fitzgibbon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

O Shea is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fitzgibbon has escaped the position, nice work there.

O Shea swings around for an armbar but Fitzgibbon sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into O Shea's guard.

O Shea is looking for a triangle but Fitzgibbon pushes his legs off easily.

Fitzgibbon stands up and waves to O Shea to follow him.
Bon Kenneth Fitzgibbon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fitzgibbon throws a right hand that O Shea ducks under and follows up with a left that O Shea also avoids with ease.

Fitzgibbon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but O Shea circles away quickly and effectively.
O Shea darts in trying to clinch
and Fitzgibbon counters with a three punch combo that has O Shea backing up. O Shea nods at Fitzgibbon to acknowledge the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fitzgibbon throws a monster overhand right that drops O Shea! Fitzgibbon follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
