Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Superhulk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyotoson Machsilva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Superhulk had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Superhulk changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Machsilva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Superhulk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Machsilva is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Machsilva wants to control but Superhulk postures up.

Superhulk goes for an armbar but Machsilva turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Machsilva.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Superhulk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Superhulk working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Machsilva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Machsilva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
