PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Kittman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Sheen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Kittman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Charlie Sheen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sheen pushes Kittman up against the cage in a clinch.
Kittman stalling in the clinch but Sheen improves position.
Kittman wants a takedown.
Kittman lands a shoulder strike.
Kittman goes for a takedown attempt but Sheen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kittman tries to keep at a distance but Sheen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Sheen manages to pull guard.

Sheen pushes Kittman off and scrambles back to his feet.
Sheen fails with a takedown attempt.
Kittman looks to land a combination but Sheen avoids it well.
Sheen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kittman avoids it really well and circles away.
Sheen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Kittman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sheen won't be happy with that.
Max Kittman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Sheen.

Kittman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kittman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sheen tries to bench press Kittman off him but Kittman keeps the position.

Kittman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Sheen wants to control but Kittman is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Kittman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Sheen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Kittman to counter with a crisp jab.
Sheen takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Sheen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Kittman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sheen moves into the clinch.

Kittman pulls guard effortlessly.
Sheen postures up.

Sheen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kittman kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Charlie Sheen wasn't active enough on the ground.
Kittman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sheen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kittman swivels and escapes.

Kittman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Kittman counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sheen is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Kittman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sheen's guard.

Sheen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kittman smiles and moves away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Max Kittman will probably get the nod.
That's time! Kittman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Sheen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kittman as he jumps to the side.

Kittman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sheen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kittman misses with a punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sheen tries to pull guard but Kittman holds him up against the cage and eventually Sheen drops back down to his feet.

Sheen shoots in and drives through. Kittman sprawls well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sheen.

Kittman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sheen's half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kittman connects with a nice short shot to Sheen's temple.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kittman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
