Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chance Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Dryupp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chance Walters!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ricky Dryupp!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dryupp fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dryupp misses with the combination.
Dryupp takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Walters misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dryupp wants to slow Walters down by chopping away at his legs.
No joy there for Dryupp, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dryupp gets a takedown into half guard.
Dryupp wants to pass to mount but Walters is defending the position.
Walters manages to get to full guard.
Dryupp stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walters swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Walters not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walters keeping moving, preventing Dryupp from controlling successfully.
Dryupp pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Walters is keeping the position for now.

Walters is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dryupp working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Walters's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walters keeping moving, preventing Dryupp from controlling successfully.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dryupp bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dryupp wants to control but Walters is keeping him busy.

Dryupp tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dryupp has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Walters is breathing heavily.
Walters sneaks back into half guard.
Dryupp content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Dryupp passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Walters!
Dryupp is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Walters can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Dryupp is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Walters defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Walters is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Walters won't enjoy being in this position. Dryupp looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Walters is tapping - it's over boys! Dryupp picks up the submission victory!
