The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Johnson, as that shot connected.
Johnson throws the left hand but Diesel avoids the punch easily.
Johnson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Johnson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Diesel had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Diesel walks into a stiff left hand from Johnson.

Diesel looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Johnson cracks Diesel with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Johnson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Diesel to stand back up!

Johnson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Diesel sprawling to the canvas! Diesel rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Johnson finish him?!
Diesel drops his hands momentarily. Johnson doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Diesel staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Diesel doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
