The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Heister if he has to take too many more of those.
Heister misses with a combination
and Stan counters with a nice body kick.
Stan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stan lands a body shot.

Heister closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stan is not content to let Heister control the position.
Stan is trying to control Heister's posture but Heister avoids it.
Stan manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Heister wants to pass to mount but Stan is defending the position.
Stan wants to control but Heister is keeping busy.

Stan is looking for a sweep. Heister is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Heister knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stan on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

King Heister has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Stan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Heister takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

It looks like King Heister has been cut.

Johhny Stan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Heister closes the distance looking to clinch
and Stan counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Heister is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Heister takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Stan gets caught flat footed, as Heister shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Heister is breathing heavily.

Heister is posturing up here but Stan has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Heister tries to roll out but it's too tight and Heister has to tap! Slick submission there by Stan!
