Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houk defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Turpa.
Turpa cracks Houk with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Houk lands a jab-cross combination.
Houk chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Turpa can pounce on him.
Turpa misses with a low kick.
Turpa misses the shot to the body.

Houk moves into the clinch.
Turpa tries to land a knee to the head but Houk blocks with his arms.
Houk's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Turpa lands with a right to the head.

Houk has Turpa pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Houk pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Turpa tumbling to the mat - Houk dives into Turpa's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Houk trying to control the position from guard on top but Turpa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Houk would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Turpa tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Turpa has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Houk doesn't defend quickly enough and Turpa has managed to lock this one up! Can Houk escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Turpa on a fantastic submission victory.
