Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Check Mong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reuf Reuf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I ain't never scared. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Reuf Reuf!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Mong blocks the low kick.
Check Mong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mong looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mong misses with a two punch combination.

and Reuf counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mong wants to clinch up but Reuf keeps it at a distance.

Reuf fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mong has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Mong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Reuf paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mong drops back, looking for a kneebar! Reuf looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Reuf looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Reuf!

Reuf slips a jab and a cross from Mong.
Mong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reuf pinned against the cage. Reuf gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Reuf.

Mong drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Mong shoots for a double leg takedown but Reuf sprawls well. He's pushed Mong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mong shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mong missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mong lands a nice short elbow.

Reuf wants to get back to his feet.
Mong thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Reuf's head.

Reuf is staying active underneath Mong, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Mong thows a huge punch but Reuf dodges it nicely.
Reuf tries to kick Mong off but Mong keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Mong seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reuf does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mong has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mong is trying to control. Reuf wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Mong throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
