Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Svenstroem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leroy Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots and misses
and Svenstroem counters with a straight right hand.
Svenstroem shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Svenstroem was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Green is working to get back to half guard.
Svenstroem is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Svenstroem tries for a takedown but Green circles away easily
and Green counters with a stiff right hand.
Green bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Green blocks the strikes from Svenstroem.
Green controlling the position.
Svenstroem tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Green tries for a kimura but Svenstroem is defending well.

Green seems to be looking for submissions.
Svenstroem is not content to let Green control the position.
Green not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Green is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Svenstroem is just riding it out for now. Green eventually gives up the hold.
Svenstroem is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Svenstroem is pressing down on Green's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Svenstroem escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Svenstroem can't keep his opponent in guard - Green advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Green trying to control but Svenstroem is working from the bottom.
Svenstroem is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Green is aware though and is defending well.
Svenstroem escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Green gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Green wants to pass the guard but Svenstroem is keeping the position.
Svenstroem looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Green drops back looking for a leg! Svenstroem is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Svenstroem manages to kick Green off! Green jumps back into Svenstroem's guard.
Green stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Svenstroem swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Green is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Green trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Svenstroem looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Green has picked Svenstroem up and slammed him! Svenstroem can't keep hold of the triangle and Green manages to pass to side control!
Svenstroem gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Green thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Svenstroem's head.

Svenstroem wants to get back to full guard.
Svenstroem is staying active underneath Green, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Green thows a huge punch but Svenstroem dodges it nicely.
Green maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Svenstroem could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Green has cracked it and Svenstroem is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Green!
