Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darth Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Oripoularis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darth Bader has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darth Bader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Oripoularis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oripoularis dives in and scores a takedown into Bader's guard.
Bader avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Oripoularis throwing strikes from guard but Bader blocks nicely.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bader is on top in guard.
Oripoularis trying to control the position.
Bader lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Oripoularis is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Oripoularis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bader slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bader accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bader won't allow Oripoularis to sweep him here.

Oripoularis is looking to sweep but instead, Bader has passed into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bader stops Oripoularis from getting back to his feet.
Oripoularis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bader wants to take a breather but Oripoularis is having none of it.
Bader not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Oripoularis wants to get back to full guard but Bader has mounted him!
Bader lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Oripoularis hang on?
Bader is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Oripoularis can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
It looks like Alexander Oripoularis has been cut.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oripoularis can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bader has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bader cracks Oripoularis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That has opened up Alexander Oripoularis's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alexander Oripoularis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
