Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Azrael Halo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Daiz!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo throws a leg kick which misses Daiz's front leg but catches the back leg as Daiz tries to avoid it.

Halo moves into the clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Halo.
Halo lands a body punch.
Halo throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Daizs head.
Halo lands with a right to the head.
Halo presses Daiz against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Daiz looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Halo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Halo gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Halo is in close to Daiz's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Halo is working Daiz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Daiz has momentary wrist control but Halo slips an elbow through the middle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Halo works over Daiz with some ground and pound from guard.
Halo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Daiz is being controlled here.
Halo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Daiz for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Halo is putting a hurting on Daiz here, landing some big shots from side control.
Halo is chipping away with strikes.
Halo cracks Daiz with a big right hand but Daiz just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Halo has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Daiz!
