Nathaniels comes to the cage accompanied by I Want To Get Away - Lenny Kravitz. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saas thows a leg kick but Nathaniels checks it
and Nathaniels counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Barry Saas has been cut.
Nathaniels misses with a double jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Saas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nathaniels has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nathaniels and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nathaniels throws a right and a left that Saas avoids nicely.
Nathaniels blocks a head kick by Saas.
Nathaniels closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Saas to the mat! Saas manages to get full guard.
Nathaniels chips away with some ground and pound.
Saas is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nathaniels loads up on a big left hand. Saas felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Nathaniels looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Saas can't hide his disappointment, as Nathaniels celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Mark Nathaniels!
