Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andre Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Prot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matt Prot!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Prot has taken the fight to the clinch.
Prot content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Prot is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ward gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Prot jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ward walks away with a smile on his face. Prot gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Prot bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Prot lands some shots froms side control.
An elbow from Prot crashes against the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prot in side control lands a decent elbow.
Ward manages to get back to half guard.
Ward moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Prot trying to control but Ward is working from the bottom.

Ward looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Prot is defending well. Ward quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Prot has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ward celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
