Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan TanHer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TanHer misses with a jab, cross combination.
TanHer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. TanHer tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag TanHer to the ground. TanHer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie feints and as TanHer raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
TanHer avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

TanHer wants to stand up but Gracie is controlling him.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as TanHer holds on and takes a little breather.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but TanHer is retaining full guard.
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
TanHer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gracie controls the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
TanHer throws a combination. Gracie tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
A thudding body kick lands there by TanHer!
TanHer looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts TanHer as he jumps to the side.

TanHer lands a nice shot that snaps Gracie 's head back.
Gracie takes one to the side of the head.
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but TanHer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Gracie . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by TanHer which made him look bad.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
TanHer throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.
TanHer stalks Gracie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gracie 's face. Gracie staggers backwards, shaken.

TanHer is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

TanHer keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
TanHer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

TanHer wants to stand but Gracie is controlling the position.
TanHer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and TanHer counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gracie thinking.

TanHer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gracie , pushing him back against the cage.

TanHer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Evan TanHer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
TanHer punishes Gracie 's body with a nice straight punch.
Gracie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from TanHer.
TanHer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gracie looks for the body kick but TanHer saw that one coming.

and TanHer counters with a series of strikes. Gracie will be more careful next time no doubt.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Gracie lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Gracie jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but TanHer manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gracie was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
TanHer is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
TanHer is squirming around, avoiding Gracie 's attempts to control the action.

TanHer defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gracie .
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Igor Gracie dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

TanHer moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Igor Gracie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gracie stands and throws TanHer's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Gracie has hold of TanHer's arm. He's looking for a kimura. TanHer seems comfortable defending it but Gracie has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! TanHer is real pain and he's forced to tap out! TanHer is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!
