Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reynold Blanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Blanco falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Blanco shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jones is trying to defend but Blanco finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Jones actively working from the bottom here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones tries to lock up and control but Blanco gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Blanco throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Blanco wants to clinch
and Blanco takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Blanco connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Good work by Jones as he checks the leg kick.
Jones gets caught flat footed, as Blanco shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jones is looking for a triangle but Blanco pushes his legs off easily.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blanco gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blanco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Blanco in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jones tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Blanco!
