Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cool Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cool Guy is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cool Guy!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy shoots for a double leg takedown but Cross sprawls well. He's pushed Guy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Guy fails with the takedown
and Cross cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cross connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Cool Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cross is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Guy.
Guy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cross.
Guy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cross throws out the jab.
Cross connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Guy walks into a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Guy drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Cross lands a big right hand that sends Guy crashing to the mat! Cross stays standing though and waves Guy back to his feet!

Guy is rocked!
Guy looks gassed!
Guy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Guy is still on wobbly legs! Can Cross finish him?
Guy doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Cross counters with a nice right hand that sends Guy toppling to the canvas! Guy scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Cross finish him?!
Harry Cross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cool Guy.
Cross swats away the attempt to clinch by Guy.
Guy seems to have recovered his senses.
Cross is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

BOOM! Cross lands a beautiful left hook that drops Guy. Guy tries to recover but Cross is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Guy lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
