Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Katana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob MacGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Katana comes to the cage accompanied by Baby got back. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacGregor throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Katana counter with a right hand.
MacGregor takes one on the chin but seems OK.
MacGregor with a poor takedown
and Katana counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
MacGregor fails with the takedown
and MacGregor takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
MacGregor slips a straight right by Katana.
Katana pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Katana throws a looping overhand right but MacGregor ducks down to avoid it.
MacGregor throws a left and a right that both miss
and Katana counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's one minute gone in the round.
MacGregor doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Katana counters with a lovely straight right hand!
James Katana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob MacGregor.
MacGregor slips a jab from Katana.
MacGregor throws a poor cross that misses
and Katana connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
MacGregor misses with a takedown attempt
and Katana counters with a stiff right hand.

MacGregor throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Katana tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. MacGregor is in Katana's guard.
Katana is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

MacGregor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and MacGregor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
MacGregor makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
MacGregor prevents Katana from getting back to his feet.
Katana on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Katana tries to get out of the position.
MacGregor works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Katana is trying to stand back up but MacGregor is controlling him
Katana is breathing heavily.
MacGregor working over Katana with some ground and pound. Katana looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Katana tries to kick MacGregor off but MacGregor keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Katana might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

MacGregor is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Katana is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
