The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Urahara drives through with a takedown into guard.

Carlo manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Carlo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Carlo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Urahara wants to control but Carlo is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Carlo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Urahara napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Carlo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Urahara is trying to control Carlo's posture but Carlo avoids it.

Carlo has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Urahara is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Carlo yanks on the arm and Urahara is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Carlo.
