Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ren Rothschild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer has chosen Bolt Thrower - IV Crusade as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rothschild looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rothschild lands a nice short elbow.

Rothschild stands up out of the half guard.
Ren Rothschild seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rothschild takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hammer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rothschild wants to clinch but Hammer slips to the side
and Hammer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rothschild tries for a takedown but Hammer circles away easily

and Hammer counters with a head kick that drops Rothschild to the mat! Rothschild scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Rothschild is rocked!

Hammer throws a sloppy head kick and Rothschild moves out of range easily.
Oh Rothschild is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rothschild tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Hammer counters with a good low kick that Rothschild was not able to check.
Rothschild is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Hammer doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Rothschild crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Rothschild's bad books for that mishap!
