Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Maciejewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Punch has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Adam Maciejewski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Maciejewski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Punch!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch throws a low kick but Maciejewski avoids it.
Maciejewski pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Punch avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maciejewski doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Punch decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Maciejewski's guard.
Maciejewski is trying to keep Punch in close.
Punch looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Maciejewski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Punch is one step ahead there.
Maciejewski wants to get back to his feet but Punch is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Maciejewski is trying to drag Punch to the mat but Punch just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Maciejewski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Punch must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Punch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Punch tries to sprawl but Maciejewski drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Punch regains full guard. Nicely done.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Punch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We're going to have a standup here because Adam Maciejewski wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Punch shoots in looking for a takedown but Maciejewski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Punch's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Punch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maciejewski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Punch creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Maciejewski sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Punch in particular looking to stall.

Punch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maciejewski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
