Ohlrich has chosen Biz Markie's- Just a Friend as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohlrich wants to clinch up but Davies keeps it at a distance.

Davies keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ohlrich shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davies pinned against the cage. Davies gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

It looks like Jon Ohlrich has been cut.

Ohlrich tries to close the distance and clinch but Davies swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ohlrich darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ohlrich shoots in for a takedown but Davies shows good takedown defense.
Daemon Davies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Ohlrich.
Ohlrich shoots in but Davies avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ohlrich is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Davies knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ohlrich looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Davies with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ohlrich cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Davies is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Ohlrich takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Davies wants to control but Ohlrich is having none of it.

Davies slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ohlrich thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Davies's head.

Davies is trying to stand back up but Ohlrich is controlling him
Well, if Ohlrich is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Davies pushes Ohlrich off looking to stand but Ohlrich dives back in and keeps control.

Ohlrich seems to be looking for submissions.
