The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
PartnerBJJJ throws a head kick that misses.
PartnerBJJJ shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Makkonen eats them both and turns towards PartnerBJJJ to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Aulis Makkonen has been cut.
Makkonen looks to clinch
enabling PartnerBJJJ to counter with a crisp jab.
PartnerBJJJ gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Makkonen to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
PartnerBJJJ lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Makkonen!
BOOM! PartnerBJJJ connects with a massive shot to the dome!
PartnerBJJJ unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Makkonen wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! PartnerBJJJ celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
