The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kukuev shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Kukuev wants to pass the guard but Boiko is defending well.
Boiko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kukuev is working away from the top position though.
Kukuev wants to take a breather but Boiko is having none of it.
Kukuev is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boiko is just riding it out for now. Kukuev eventually gives up the hold.

Kukuev maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Boiko could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kukuev has cracked it and Boiko is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kukuev!
