Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daisuke Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Alberto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Suzuki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. Alberto has chosen Rap De Armas as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Carlos Alberto has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Daisuke Suzuki's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suzuki is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Alberto to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Alberto shrugs it off.

Suzuki is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Alberto has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Alberto!

Suzuki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alberto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Alberto drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Suzuki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alberto has Suzuki in his guard.

Well Suzuki has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
