Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Horvat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Klou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horvat comes to the cage accompanied by Linkin Park-By Myself. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ivan Horvat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darren Klou!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klou pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Klou catches Horvat with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Horvat ducks under a wild hook from Klou.
Klou lands a nice shot that snaps Horvat's head back.
Horvat shoots and misses
and Klou decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Horvat's guard.
Horvat is looking to sweep but instead, Klou has passed into half guard.
Klou prevents Horvat from standing back up.

Horvat is trying to maintain the position but Klou is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Horvat looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Darren Klou has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Klou connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Horvat momentarily.
Horvat changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Klou looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Klou isn't going anywhere.
Horvat decides to stand back up. Horvat steps back and let's Klou get back to his feet.
Nice straight punches there by Klou. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Klou.
Klou connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Horvat misses with a takedown attempt
and Klou counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Horvat!
Horvat is breathing heavily.
Klou punishing his opponent with strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Klou looking for a guillotine from mount but Horvat is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Klou controlling from the full mount.
Klou working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Horvat turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Klou off and cradles Horvat's limp body as Klou celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Darren Klou!
