Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Smit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smit has chosen Can't be Touched as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Paul Smit was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Collins closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Smit did well to prevent Collins getting side control.

Collins is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Collins wants to control but Smit is keeping him busy.
Collins is thwarting Smit's attempts to control the position.
Smit throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Smit looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Smit trying to hold on to Collins's head to control him but Collins postures up.
Collins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Smit with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
