Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pj Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn comes into the arena with BJ Penn Theme blaring out of the sound system. Pj Quinn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones gets caught napping as Quinn dives in and scores a takedown. Jones manages to retain guard.

Quinn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Quinn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jones's guard.

Jones is defending against the submission attempts here by Quinn.
Quinn is pressing down on Jones's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jones is holding on for now.
Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Quinn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jones tries to roll over but Quinn keeps him under control.

Quinn is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Quinn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Quinn controlling the pace.
Jones is trying to maintain the position but Quinn is very close to passing his half guard.
Quinn prevents Jones from improving his position.
Jones wants to control but Quinn is keeping busy.
Jones is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Quinn is staying active.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Quinn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Quinn throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Jones has his hands clasped together but Quinn breaks the hold and Jones is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Quinn!
