The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parkati misses with a takedown
and Parkati takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Takayuki fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Parkati sprawls well initially but Takayuki persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Takayuki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Parkati doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Takayuki.
Takayuki is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Takayuki is trying for a kimura here. Parkati looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Takayuki wins by kimura!
