Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takero Yoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Gilmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshi's entrance music is Gimme shelter - the rolling stones. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshi slips under a jab from Gilmore.
Gilmore throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Takero Yoshi has been cut.
Good shot there by Yoshi.
Gilmore tries to score with a low kick but Yoshi moves his leg out of the way.
Gilmore misses with a body kick.
Gilmore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Yoshi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gilmore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yoshi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Yoshi goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gilmore turns into him and now he's in Yoshi's guard.

Gilmore got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yoshi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gilmore has managed to get both his arms back between Yoshi's legs - danger averted.
Yoshi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gilmore tries to buck Yoshi off but he can't manage it.

Yoshi wants to finish this one by submission but Gilmore is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Yoshi.

Yoshi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gilmore to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gilmore shrugs it off.

Yoshi is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gilmore has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Gilmore's jab looks to have found its range, popping Yoshi under the eye.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Yoshi counters with a shoot takedown. Gilmore fights it but they end up in guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Yoshi uses his free foot to push down on Gilmore's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Gilmore.
Yoshi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gilmore is looking to escape.

Yoshi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gilmore's guard.

Yoshi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gilmore swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Yoshi shoots in looking for a takedown but Gilmore manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yoshi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Yoshi throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Gilmore has his hands clasped together but Yoshi breaks the hold and Gilmore is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Yoshi!
