Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Laiho blocks the low kick.
Slewton gets a takedown into half guard.

Slewton seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Slewton connects with a nice short shot to Laiho's temple.

Slewton fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Laiho wants to control but Slewton is having none of it.

Laiho takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Slewton wants to finish this one by submission but Laiho is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Slewton.
The referee warns Laiho that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
