Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQueen comes into the arena with Edguy - Ministry of Saints blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Potter's choice of entrance music: THE LION SLEEPS TONIGHT. Carter Potter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQueen wants to clinch but Potter slips to the side
and Potter counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
McQueen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McQueen shoots in looking for a takedown. Potter tries to sprawl out of it but McQueen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Potter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Potter lands a slapping body shot.
Potter misses with a body kick.
Potter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McQueen is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McQueen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Potter counters with a nice body shot.
McQueen has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Potter.
Potter fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
James McQueen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McQueen moves forwards but Potter connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like James McQueen has been cut.
Potter lands with a shot to the body.
Potter throws a sloppy head kick and McQueen moves out of range easily.
Potter cracks McQueen with a good jab.
Potter lands with a kick to the ribs.
Potter lands a brutal head kick. McQueen looks out on his feet and Potter throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
