Desjardins is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Makiavala lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Desjardins is looking to close the distance but Makiavala sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Desjardins crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Desjardins is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
