PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bj Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deamon Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Speed has chosen El-Magico as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Deamon Speed is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cane throws a jab but it's blocked by Speed.
Speed throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Cane misses the body punch
and Speed counters with an inside leg kick.
Cane fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Speed walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cane checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Cane chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Speed can pounce on him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Speed misses with a low kick as Cane jumps back.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Speed lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cane has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cane and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Speed throws a jab when Cane was well out of range.
Deamon Speed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fight stays on the outside here - Speed looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Speed swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cane rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Speed counters with an outside leg kick.
Speed is looking to clinch but Cane is avoiding it.
Speed tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Cane counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Speed looks like he's trying to stand up.

Cane is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Cane maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Speed could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cane has cracked it and Speed is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cane!
