Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Creed might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Welcome To The Jungle. Jake Creed had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lenny Martin!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed with a poor takedown
and Martin counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Creed throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Martin was covering up waiting for the punch and Creed finishes the takedown easily into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Creed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Creed has gone for a leg lock! Martin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Creed's guard.

Martin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Creed is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Martin, into his guard.

Martin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Creed's guard.
Creed has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Creed scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Martin jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Creed is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Creed and Martin has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
