The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haynes throws an off balance right hand
and Luciano cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Haynes lands with a nice combination. Luciano backs away looking to recover.
Haynes misses with a lunging right hand
and Luciano counters with a stiff right hand.
Luciano is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Haynes misses with a wild body shot.
Haynes throws a right and a left that Luciano avoids nicely.
Haynes jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Luciano is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Haynes is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Luciano's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Haynes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Luciano.
Luciano looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Brandon Haynes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Luciano.
